Brady started preschool at a Mother's Day Out program. It's hard to believe but I was a little emotional over this day. I say that it is hard to believe because you would think I would have been used to him being gone all day. After all, he was going to daycare for ten hours everyday while I worked full-time. After being home with my babies all summer, I got used to having him with me all day, everyday.
It was bittersweet for me. I know how much fun he'll have at preschool with his friends and I get to use my time away from him to get some things done and even volunteer at Kelsey's school. All in all, I know preschool is going to be wonderful for all of us.
One thing that helped me not be too emotional on his first day was how EXCITED he was to start school! Everyday we take Kelsey to school and he asks "do I get to go to school today?" or "is today lunchbox day for me, too?"
Brady and big sis on his first day!

Kelsey is very excited for her little bro!

Poor thing, the sun was in his eyes!

We're about to go inside!

Brady and his new teacher, Mrs. Becky!

The first day was a success! He is really enjoying himself and getting adjusted. One thing I love so much about his preschool is that there are only six other kids in his class! There were 18 in his old daycare class. What a wonderful change this is going to be for him.
I am so excited for this upcoming school year and I am so thankful that I get to enjoy it with my kids.
