Family Vacation: Parte Cuatro {Playa del Carmen}

As you can tell, we played hard! We played so hard that often times dinner time was like a date night for us. Our table would look like this... sweet babies. This post may seem like random pictures but I just have to post them so I don't forget any of these special little moments we shared on our trip.

This was one of them! I looked outside the window one morning to check on Griffin and Kelsey. I found them having their own little conversation about the fish in the water and all the neat sounds they heard (birds chirping). They were so cute together and I'm so glad I captured one of those sweet moments.

We spent our days at the pool and the beach and the pool and the beach. It was pure paradise. This resort had a several pools but we found ourselves in the beautiful infinity pool mostly.

We really enjoyed the cabanas they had poolside. Two of the fair-skinned people on the trip needed a little break from the sun on occasion. Our breaks didn't last long as we couldn't wait to have more fun in the sun!

Another very important milestone happened while we were in Mexico: Kelsey lost her first top tooth! It had been wiggly for some time and it was pretty much just hanging there until she decided to pull it out. She wasn't sure if the tooth fairy would come all the way to Mexico so she was very happy to find two pesos the next morning! LOL! :)

A cute bonus we found in our new suites were mini robes and house slippers for the kids. You know we had to take a picture of them all dressed up! They were happy to take the house slippers home with them. Cute stuff. :)

One of our last dinners together was at a nice restaurant overlooking the beach. We really enjoyed this one. Sitting at the table with my beautiful family and friends while listening to the relaxing sound of the ocean overlooking our tropical paradise. It was a wonderful way to end our memorable vacation.

I love these pictures of Kelsey and Griffin. They were the best of buds and really all three of the kids got along so well. This was definitely a trip we will look back on for years and years to come. It goes down in our book as our favorite vacation of all time.Anne, Brad & Mamaw: Thank you for showing us around this beautiful city. We loved experiencing your favorite place to get a mojito and your favorite restaurant, ETC. We will never forget the memories we made and are so thankful we were able to share those with you all. Mucho laughs, smiles and hugs the entire trip.

Here we are on the flight home! One last note that I have to share: there was something I heard from the kids throughout the entire trip-- "This is the BEST vacation EVER!" We said, "even better than last year's vacation to Disney World?" The kids replied "YES!!! Best vacation ever! We love Mexico!"

You know what I have to say to that? Yep, those are definitely my kids! Love love LOVE MEXICO!
